Kunj Shah

Founder

In his own words, he was born to serve tastefully. Although he began his career with textiles, he swapped the former for truffles in 2014. Ever since, he has surfed the luxury decor wave from accessories to art and now guides Milaris into bigger waters of furniture and lighting. He spends his days juggling projects for corporate titans, screen legends and the occasional prime ministerial neighbour enjoying every frantic minute of his work.

A serial traveller, he tours ateliers with clients each month, tasting fresh art and even fresher vintages. Speaking of vintages, Kunj may forget the restaurant's name, but not the wine. He owns twelve identical t-shirts in black and navy because, as he puts it, “decision fatigue is for amateurs.” Ridiculously in love with Paris, he’s happiest curating the perfect pieces of furniture with a covetable wine collection on the side.

Reema Shah

Co-Founder

With a decade’s experience in the industry, Reema lives for the thrill of discovering rare objects, emerging brands and often times, for that perfect misfit piece that gives a room its soul. She believes the most compelling spaces resist perfection; a measured irregularity invites a pause and, in that pause, the magic appears. At Milaris, she is happiest at design fairs, plotting sourcing trips and swapping ideas with architects, artists and clients who keep her learning curve steep.

Paris is her compass and Parisian mornings must always begin with a croissant. September is her favourite month for golden-hour skies in the city of love. Every trip brings new artists, new galleries and new restaurants. As sharp as her memory can be, she may sometimes forget names. She is passionate about tennis and has a Roland-Garros final on her checklist. Her only non-favourite part of the job: early work calls while travelling, especially through jet lag.

Sachin Mogre

Co-Founder

With over 15 years of experience in luxury interior design, Sachin brings both expertise and instinct to Milaris. A man of the world with an eye for precision, Sachin has explored every country in Europe but it is Milan that has his heart and swears by Indian cuisine as the greatest in the world. Cultured, thoughtful and attuned to the finer details of life, he also speaks impeccable Italian. He has watched Goodfellas and The Godfather more times than he’ll admit.

Punctual to a fault (he admits to being anxiously early), Sachin balances a sharp eye for global design with a daily habit of checking equity and crypto markets. He dreams of meeting Warren Buffett someday and won’t rest until his credit score hits a perfect 900.
